Today I started working on my latest manga MASTERPIECE!!!
OK, it’s not really a masterpiece, but it’s a piece that I plan to put a whole lot of effort into during the next few days. And I’m going to post this piece here as it appears in the different “phases of development”.
The first two “phase of development” (the ones I did today) are:
The drawing of the original image (simple sketch done in pencil)
The tracing of the image in pen (this is so that the picture will show up clearly when it’s scanned)
Now, note: I’m no expert so expect the least in my work and please think nothing of it if my way of creating my work is different or less effective than others. I appreciate any tips, though.

I know, doesn’t look very much like Sachi-chan, but it’s supposed to be a self-portrait. But hopefully the color will make a big difference in making this look like Sachi-chan. Hmmm, I should get rid of that mole. Sachi-chan doesn’t have a more -_- *wishes she did*
But I must leave now (gomen). Today was a busy day. Look out for the last phase of my piece soon!

I’m currently personalizing my PSP. Just like my computer, I like to keep my PSP always looking nice and new. So I regularly change backgrounds themes etc. [^_^] I try to give my PSP the best treatment!

Naruto!
To be completely honest, I really am not a huge fan of Naruto. I initially only thought it was cool because it’s an anime, but that it basically. Oh and Gaara \[♥.♥]/!
Sand Siblings - Temari, Gaara♥ and Kankuro
I mean, in the earlier stages of the anime, Gaara’s a real psycho jerk-freak [O_o]! He’s all sadistic and… just plain insane [;_;]. But I’ve always found him intriguing. Like he must have had some kind of a traumatic experience (sorry, I haven’t seen the entire series, so I don’t know if maybe the answer to this question is right in the show [^_-]) or something. I think I read something on Wikipedia about something with his creator or whatever.
But anyway, I especially LOVE Gaara when he turns good \[^▽^]/~{SUGOI NE)!!! It’s nice to see such a serious, scary guy like Gaara become a good guy [^_^]~♥.
Anyway, minna-san must be wondering how Sachi-chan knows all of this about Naruto if she doesn’t like the show?
Well, doesn’t every anime fan know some stuff about Naruto? It’s like one of the most popular anime. Plus, my brother’s a HUGE Naruto fan. He talks about it all the time, reads the manga, watches the anime, plays the video games and more!!! [0.0] Also, Sachi-chan sometimes puts extra effort into finding information about Gaara [^_^]! He’s just so interesting!

Speaking of which, since Sachi-chan now has a working scanner, look out for some new drawings of hers! Though they’ll probably be worse than the last ones I posted, since I didn’t practice much during the vacation [u_u].

Alright, now …what shall I blog about today? *thinks* I know! I’ll blog about my absolute favorite game of all time: The Sims!
The Sims!
Note: This post is packed with my opinions. If anyone disagrees with them, I have no problem whatsoever, but I hope no one will take any of this personally. Thank you!
Anyway, so, I’ve been a big fan of The Sims for about as long as I can remember. My love of this awesome game was passed down to me by my older sister. She was always a Sims fan and when I became old enough to understand the game I fell in love with it too! I really don’t know any other game that comes close. I know different games suite different people, so I understand that some would prefer maybe a faster more action game, for example. But I’ve always loved simulation games, and especially “life” simulation games. So The Sims (“Sims” is short for simulation) is basically the perfect game for me!
OK, some of you may be reading this and thinking, What is high heaven is this girl talking about? If so, I’ll explain a little about The Sims games now.
First off, I’ll start by saying a little about the general plot of all of the Sims games:
Basically, the objective of all Sims games is just to… live. In the Sims games (at least the ones for PC), there’re hardly ever any real obligations or things you have to do to “win”. You choose just about everything about the kind of lives you want your sims to live. You choose whether you want them to live happily ever after, or a life of drama and issues. It’s really the ultimate simulation game.
One of the main things that I love so much about The Sims games are the many possibilities to expand the game. At first when you just install, for example, The Sims 2 base game, life is just simple, you just live, work, eat, sleep socialize etc. That can be fun, but after a certain amount of time, that gets kinda boring, doesn’t it? That’s where expansion packs come in. The makers of The Sims games are always busy working on their latest expansion pack (unless of course a totally new base game is coming out soon – such as The Sims 3!!!). Expansion packs do exactly what they imply. They expand the game.
The Sims 2 Expansion Packs
Lemme give a quick example:
When I buy The Sims 2 (base game), I can just live (not too many special things to do). But if I buy “The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack*”, I can send my teenage kids to college so they can get good jobs. And then if I buy “The Sims 2 Bon Voyage Expansion Pack*”, I can do that (send my kids to college) and go on awesome vacations. Then if I buy “The Sims 2 Pets Expansion pack*”, I can have pets as part of the family. And so on.
So each time you install an expansion pack, you expand the game more and more. And it’s that ever-growing-ness that keeps The Sims games interesting. You’re still playing the same game with your same families, but the game itself is always growing, getting more and more possibilities. Pretty cool, ne? n.n
Ok, I think that’s enough of my babbling on about this game now… I just can’t wait until the newest Sims game, The Sims 3 comes out next year!!! *v*/!!!

Moving on… At the moment I’m trying to learn a seemingly simple piano piece. It’s the piano piece for “Love Song” by Sara Bareilles. [Listen to the song below]
It’s a pretty nice song, but what I really like about it specifically, is the cool, simple piano chords. See, I’m no pianist, but I feel that one should always have a few memorized songs that he/she knows how to play on the piano, just so that he/she doesn’t look “un-musical”@_@.
OK, so although I’m a guitarist (although I’m nowhere near an expert) and I know a lot about music (since my dad’s a big-time musician), I’m not very gifted on the piano T_T. But dispite this, I still think that it’s important to know some songs on the piano so I can seem impressive on that instrument too^. ~.
Anyway, so that’s why when I heard this song, and the piano part seemed simple, but still somewhat impressive, I decided to do my best to try and learn that piece. So that’s something that I’m currently working on at the moment. Of course I needed some good help in order for my clumsy self to actually learn a piece like this u.u. That’s why I found this video (below) on Youtube , which is a really helpful tool in learning this song. So now I already know all the notes, all I have to do is practice.
So, to all who would like to learn this song too, you may make use of this video. You know what? Since I’m in a good mood ^_^, I’ll also post the lyrics to the song just in case anyone would like to sing it.

Hey! Speaking of learning music. Yoshi asked me to teach him some guitar skills today o.o… I’m not sure I’m the best teacher, but I guess I’ll try my best. Who knows, maybe he’ll even be able to outplay me someday… but as long as I’m his guitar sensei, I’ll have to make sure that doesn’t happen ^_-.
I gotta go now. But let me know, what instruments do you play, if any and if not which would you like to learn? Can you sing? Sachi-chan can sing, but only in her shower. -___- *LOL*
