Will Sachi-chan ever have free time again?!

Konbanwa minna-san!

Sachi-chan is feeling rather guilty for allowing this blog to go un-updated for quite some time. [-_-] Gomenassai, minna-san!

Anyway, Sachi-chan has been super busy again these last few days. I’m beginning to get pretty ticked at “being busy” all the time now. I never have time to chill and draw manga or just surf the net or play my guitar or read manga or do any of those things I like to do [;_;]. I really don’t feel much like a kid anymore.*tear-tear* Sachi-chan doesn’t wish to live the rest of her youth like this! [T.T]

One huge part of the problem is this:

My job is one that doesn’t require constant activity. I work at my grandma’s very tiny shop. I don’t have a specific task to do, so I just do what needs to be done. Since my granny’s shop isn’t super busy (especially when I’m at work – in the afternoons) I have a good bit of time to do things like homework and stuff. But the very big problem is… there’s no internet access in her store. There used to be but there isn’t anymore. So Sachi-chan wastes precious time doing nothing or just blabbering with her granny when she could be on her laptop blogging, working on her projects and doing any other things I need the internet to do.

But now, since there’s no internet access there, I get home, have about an hour free. So I have to pack alllll those things that I have to get done online (which I could have done at work) into that tiny hour and then rush on with the rest of my day! *RAWR!!! \[`o΄]/{!3*

I don’t think I can keep this up for much longer especially since I feel like my homework performance is taking a blow because of this.

Minna-san must be wondering, “Why are you stressing yourself out for a job? Let alone a job at you granny’s!?”.

Well, to be honest, Sachi-chan is totally putting her all into this job because it’s the only steady source of income that she has. And if minna-san remembers, I have a specific goal that I’m saving for *wink-wink*. That’s why I’m using just about all of my free time to work so that I can save up as much as possible, whether it’s stressfull or not!

For example, Sachi-chan has a week of vacation from school coming up soon. I’m still wondering whether or not I should work full-time for that week or not. I’ve calculated how much I’d earn according to how many hours I’d be able to work in the week and…

If Sachi-chan works full-time during her week of vacation she, at the end of the week, she would earn 5 times more money than she doesn on regular weeks when she only works part-time. That means, in one day of working full-time, I’d earn the same amount of money that I get from working a whole week part-time! [$.$] LOL

So I think I’m gonna go ahead and work full-time during my vacation. [u_u]

I just can’t wait until I’ve reached my goal and can buy this dream phone of mine! Then I’ll definitely be able to slack up a little, since I won’t have anything specific to save for.

Well, Sachi-chan must go back to her hectic life of work and responsibility [=_=].

Sachi-chan had a yummy breakfast the other day ^_^

2008 Baton!

Hola minna-san! Sachi-chan at your service!

Right now I’m pretty much bored out of my mind! .__. *sigh* There’s little to do. Nami-chan and Yoshi are, of course, unreachable u_u. And my mom won’t let me go hang out at one of my other friend’s place. *groan* It’s really a dead-end right now.

But fortunately, I can blog to pass time for now… then I’ll see what I find to do after this.

Anyway, I was tagged by Ms. Aya from Paper Diaries to do this 2008 baton to end this year. So I’ll do that now – This should be fun ^.^

Here I go!

1. How was the atmosphere of the year?

Hmmm, well I can’t say this whole year had a single kind of atmosphere, but generally this was a year filled growth for Sachi-chan. In many different ways.

2. How many new friends did you make?

Hmmm, I can’t really remember making too many new friends. I know I made a couple friends through blogging. Also made new friends at websites that I visit regularly.

3. Have you gotten any taller or put on weight?

I don’t think I’ve gotten any taller (HALLELUJIAH! *o*/! – Sachi-chan wants to stay exactly the height that she is for the rest of her life! – about 170cm) and I’m not sure about my weight. I probably lost weight… I’ve been more active this year. I think I’m about 113 lbs. rigt now. I believe I was more earlier this year. *shrugs* Idk.

4. What kind of clothes did you wear?

As usual I’ve been wearing my American style clothes this year. But I think I’ve been dressing even more American than before. Lots of jeans, Converse All-Stars, T-shirts etc. I really stopped wearing sandals and slippers (unless necessary) for a huge part of the year. I also started wearing more stylish formals to church ^_^.

5. Developed any new interest(s)?

Blogging, of course, which I started a month or two ago. I hardly even understood what a blog was before -_-*.

6. Did you fall in love with anybody?

Well, I’m not so sure about love… but  I did develop a pretty big crush on…

Chris Brown ♥_♥ *sighs*

Chris Brown ♥_♥ *sighs*

7. What have you been dreaming this year?

Sachi-chan has been dreaming about:

  • The perfect guy! ♥
  • Growing up to be a successful young woman ^~^v
  • The day I get married!
  • Being chased by a crazy bodybuilder dude in an airport parking lot. o_o

8. What were your sweetest and best moments in Year 2008?

I can’t remember too many of them, but here are a few:

  • When Obama was elected President of America! Wow, that was an amazing experience.

  • Oh! And another one was just a few days ago. When my mom and I watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Beijin. That was the most awe-inspiring ceremony of any kind that I have ever seen. I wish I could have been there! – I think I’ll blog about it sometime for those of you who haven’t seen it.
  • Holding my friend Maes’s baby girl for the first time.

9. What were your WORST/FRIGHTENING moment in Year 2008?

Oh! One was this time when my dad, brother and some friends of mine were stupid enough to try climbing this mountain… WITH NO GEAR OR ANYTHING. It was really one of the stupidest things to do. We were just walking along a beach, regularly. Then for no apparant reason, my brother started climbing up this rocky mountain thingy. I would think my dad would have stopped him, but he didn’t. He joined him O_O. Anyway, it’s kind of a long story. I thought I was gonna lose my life that day!

10. What was the most proud thing you did?

Hmmm, yet another tough one. Lets see:

  • Was promoted to my next grade top of my class.
  • I stood up to a teacher who was being unfair.
  • I stood up for my beliefs in God multiple times.
  • Sorry, I can’t think of anything else.

11. What do you regret most?

I regret following my dad up that mountain.

12. How was your birthday celebrated?

It was hardly celebrated. I was “sick” on my birthday (red flag). So when my family took me out to have lunch, I felt so sick I had to rush home. -.-

13. What is the best thing given to you?

God’s gift of LOVE – Jesus Christ!

14. Any confessions to make?

I shot the sheriff!!! ;_; …. ♫But I didn’t shoot the deputy!~♫ ^o^/♫ *LOL*

15. What are the goals that you have achieved?

  • I was able to be promoted to the next year of school, top of my class.
  • I was able (I hope) to help others in different ways.

16. What are the goals that you COULDN’T achieve this year?

Hmmm, I couldn’t eat healthy all the time.

17. What do you have in mind for the upcoming year?

Next year I want to:

  • Continue to do my very best in school.
  • Help many people.
  • Grow in my walk with God!
  • Help others know Him too.
  • Get into the audience of the Oprah Show!
  • Be ON the Oprah Show!*LOL*
  • Have a successful blog!~* ^_^

———————————–Ta-da! Finito!—————————————

Hmmm, ok I pass this baton to anyone who would like to use it. If I may.

OK, that took up enough time, I’ll go now!

Sachi-chan’s Christmas

Oyasumi minna-san! Sachi-chan here, blogging randomly after a random day of doing hardly anything useful.*sigh*

How was minna-san’s Christmas? Did you all have a wonderful time with family and friends? My Christmas wasn’t too bad at all. I actually enjoyed the day. First we went to my Grandma’s for the usual Christmas lunch. I love Granny’s cooking! *yummm*

Next we went to a home for old people. I was kinda nervous about going since I’m not very good with strangers (offline, at least) – especially old ones. But I’d been thinking and praying really hard since before Christmas about what I’d do for someone else this year. So this was an awesome, simple way to help someone else have a better Christmas.

So we went to the home and it was pretty sad to see some of those old people just lying there in their beds all alone on Christmas. One man was actually in tears when we showed up. He was so sad because he felt like his family had forgotten him (they hadn’t come to visit him). It was really sad ;_;. Fortunately, my brother who plays the flute had his flute with him, so he played him some nice Christmas carols and we sand along.^●^♫ I hope it helped cheer that poor old man.

As we went to all the other rooms my brother ended up playing carols for just about all the other old people there. It was nice of him to do that n_n (though we basically had to force him to keep going).

Anyway, after we were done at the home, we head over to a friend’s house to hang out. They have a big family and just about everyone meets up at their place every Christmas. We had fun there.

After that we went back home. By this time I was quite sure that I wasn’t getting much for Christmas, and I was OK with that. I didn’t have much that really wanted anyway. Actually, the one thing that I could think of that I really would love to get was this video game called WiiMusic (I blogged about it… last month… I think).

But just when I was about to head to my room, thinking that my Christmas was just about done, my mom called me and my brother to her room. She had a big grin on her face (^v^). Right then I remembered that earlier that day my sister (who lives over seas) had said over the phone that she’d sent us “something” *sneaky tone of voice*. Though I pleaded with her to tell me what it was, she didn’t. So I guessed this must be that “something” she was talking about. When my mom pulled out a wrapped gift from behind her back I knew I was right. I could tell by the shape and size that it was clearly a video game! Could it be?!, I thought. When I opened the case and saw the yellow from the WiiMusic logo I was just so surprised O.o! I was so not expecting to get the one thing I’d wanted! So I spent a small part of my Christmas trying out WiiMusic, then I went to bed.

Yup, that was my Christmas this year. Pretty simple for most of the day but it ended in a really nice surprise. ^.^/

Anyway, I’m gonna go play video games (ie. WiiMusic) or something. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. In fact, How was everyone’s Christmas? What special things happened for you? I’d love to know! *v*

*I’m back!♪♫

Ohayou minna-san! How are you? This is Sachi-chan, back from her weekend trip overseas!

What I'm munchin' on right now...

What I'm munchin' on right now...

That was fast, wasn’t it? Yes, on Friday I went on a short trip to one of the neighboring islands (sorry I can’t say the name of the island, I’ll just call it the Mysterious Island *_*). I didn’t exactly want to go, but unfortunately, I didn’t have much of a choice -_-. My parent’s decided we needed to spend “Family Time” together, and all my other family members were going so I couldn’t stay here alone (*was dragged onto plane by her neck*ˋ.ˊ||{!)).

Anyway, so now I’m going to tell y’all a little about my trip to this mysterious island

OK, so my stay on the mysterious island, was obviously very short, but before we left I expected there to at least be some free time when we could maybe go shopping, or swimming or something other than just driving around “getting things done”. But I was sadly mistaken, because I had no chance to go shopping, or swimming, or even just to go out dining or something. Actually, the closest we came to dining was a fast food lunch in the cafeteria of a supermarket T.T (how plain!).

But we did get to see some friends and family who we hadn’t seen in quite a long time, so that was one good thing.

Another good thing about our trip to the mysterious island, was that we got to stay in a pretty nice hotel. It was really big, lots of walking to get to the room, but something very lovely about that hotel was that it’s very near to this harbor place where lots of cruises and yachts come in ♥.♥ (Sachi-chan loves yachts)! The rooms weren’t bad either, but the absolute best part of the room was the bathrooms. I even took videos of them!

↑That↑ one’s the smaller one, with only a shower (no bathtub). I still though it was really nice though. *.*

And ↑that’s↑ the bigger one from the main bedroom. Pretty *.*!

Those videos (taken by Sach-chan! ^.-) of the bathrooms. I dunno if it looks as good on video as it does in person though… Or maybe I just have bad taste in bathrooms… u_u.

Oh, one cool thing that happened at the hotel on the mysterious island is…

Saturday night, after coming home from a long day of “getting things done”, my mom, cousin and I were walking to our room. As we were walking we saw this cute little kitty cat! (<^•.•^>) Since she was so cute, and didn’t seem sickly or anything, I decided to pet her. She felt really fluffy and clean, even cleaner than my own cat, I think…? Anyway, so after I pet her, I pretty much expected her to just go about her business. But to our surprise, she started to follow us! I started playing with her, and actually became quite fond of her, so I took some pictures of her and called her Paws (because all of her paws are white)!

~*Paws!*~

~*Paws!*~

Sorry, this ones kinda blurry u_u...

Sorry, this ones kinda blurry u_u...

When we reached to our building, I expected her to leave, but she followed us all the way up to our room. Once we went inside, my dad wouldn’t let her come in, so she left ;_;. *wonders* Will I ever see Paws again?*sigh*

Night(robot boyfriend) and Riiko

Night(robot boyfriend) and Riiko

Anyway, so while I was on the mysterious island, I also got to read some manga, although not much. I read some of Zettai Kareshi, which is a pretty awesome shoujo about a girl who ends up with a perfect boyfriend, whose a robot. I’m probably gonna read further after I’m done blogging.

Oh! And before I went on my little trip to the mysterious island, I finished another good shoujo series called Kare First Love. That one’s just about a relationship between a guy and a girl, not much out of the ordinary. But it was a good series, I enjoyed reading it, though I thought the ending was weird.

Anyway, I’m gonna go now. God bless!
